Affiliate Marketing is a collaborative work of sharing, recommending and promoting the company's products or services between the brand and its affiliate partners.
Whenever an affiliate helps a company to sell a product or service, he or she receives a commission for that work.

Main types of commission in Affiliate Marketing:
CPC - Cost per Click
In this type of commission, the affiliate receives an amount for each click received on a link or banner, or on any other type of advertisement.
The affiliate's main focus will be to develop campaigns that attract a large number of clicks, rathen than generating conversions.

CPA - Cost per Action
The CPA implies that in addition to the click, the user does some type of action within the website (such as subscription). For this type of commission, the affiliate will need to create a page that is interesting enough to generate user interaction.

CPM - Cost per Mile
This commission is based on a fixed amount, whenever the ad reaches one thousand impressions (views).

CPS - Cost per sale
Cost per sale means that the affiliate receives his commission when a purchase is made. For this purpose usually are used links or discound codes.
